Canton Famille Rose Vase, the vase boldly enameled on the body with two rectangular cartouches, one containing a lady and her husband walking with attendants in a garden, the other with officials seated at tables greeting two other officials pleading on behalf of a man, each surrounded by birds and flowers, the neck with figural panels of wealthy patrons walking in gardens above pairs of applied chilong, all against a ground of scattered prunes blossoms and grounds, the handles each modeled as a Buddhist lion and cub with an gilt iron ball.
