Chinese Ming Dynasty Bronze Seating Bodhisattva, seated in vajrasana on a shaped plinth, wearing underskirt secured with a knotted ribbon, a wide-sleeved mantle covering both shoulders, its border incised with scrolling tendrils, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, smiling lips, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, the hair combed into a chignon with some tresses running along shoulders and upper arms, secured with a pierced tiara and its front cast with a ratna.
