FINE WAKIZASHI SWORD. The Early Shinto-era blade signed BICHU NO KAMI TACHIBANA YASUHIRO. Of shinogi zukuri form, with gunome temperline and distinct turnback at the tip, with fine mokume-hada grain. The shakudo fuchi and kashira with floral motifs, elaborately gilt. Silk tsuka ito with menuki intact. Gilded two-piece habaki with cat-scratch motif. Lacquered sukashi, tsuba with wear to edges.
