Large Museum Quality Blanc de Chine Deer, elegantly standing foursquare on a rockery base, the top of the pedestal having a small impressed square seal under the glaze, his head raised and neck outstretched, as if gazing up at the sky, around his neck is tied a small double gourd bottle. The magnificent large Deer with richly ornamented and elegant saddle draped over his back with ties that hang down by his feet. On his back rests a large and highly elaborate, pierced vase or jar carrying an arrangement of flowers.

* Deer: Known for its endurance, grace, and long life, the deer is another Chinese symbol for longevity. The word for deer in Chinese is lu which translates to mean income. Consequently, the combined meanings represent a prosperous long life.
