Nkanu Figure – drummer, extremely rare with distinctly oval head, the upper face is enclose within a large ovoid relief line, and the encircled features are distinctly rounded. The Nkanu figures were influenced by the Yaka, but they achieved a distinctive style through the use of applied polychrome pigments.
