CHINESE SPINACH JADE SEAL. In a square form, dragon-shaped button, enhanced the sides with inscriptions in writing xiaozhuan and Manchu, a stamp on one side bearing QIANLONG four characters mark, the face bearing Chinese characters in stylized writing zhuanshu, zhi yu liu shi zhi bao (under the control of the army)

Reference: a similar Carved Chinese Spinach-Green Jade Seal but without the original fitted box and base was sold at Christie’s Paris, 14 December 2011, lot 242 for € 10 000 + 25% buyers premium (total € 12 500,-)
