RARE HUANGHUALI WINE TABLE. This rare Huanghuali wine table has a slender, elegant form. With large, single-panel top set within the wide rectangular frame. The curvilinear apron is deeply cut to form cloud-head spandrels, which meet the legs with flush-mitered bridled joints. The legs and apron are finely raised with beading against a flat-bevelled ground. The straight legs are shaped with flanges, and terminate in hoof feet that stand on lotus-shaped pads. Raised beading rises to the top form the ruyi decoration on the foot.
