Rare Large Bronze Seven Headed Kannon. Standing full-length depiction of a female deity holding water jar in the right hand containing Jōsui 浄水, a miraculous elixir that relieves the thirst of devotees and forming an inverted “Fear Not” Mudra with the left hand. Adorned with an ornate crown composed of miniature heads and a standing Buddha. Figure is mounted on a stepped circular base with incised ornament and a calligraphic inscription on back.
