A Painted Grey Pottery Figure of Striding Horse with Separate Saddle, Tang Dynasty, Tl Test, H 43 cm.

Tang Dynasty Horse, the figure shown striding, the head well modelled with flare nostrils and expressive eyes below the picked ears. The horse with hogged mane and head turned to the left, the separate saddle cloth with incised border, the figure is covered with a white pigment which is now under the tomb ground.

Note: The result of the thermoluminescence test, is consistent with the dating of the item.
A Certificate of Authenticity from Becker Antiques (antique dealers since 1969, Amsterdam) will accompany the item.
