A Large Bronze Figure of a Dignitary
MING DYNASTY DIGNITARY. Seated in European fashion with his right hand placed on his thigh while the left holding a double-ground vessel, with broad and heavy belt that secures his long mantle falling over his legs, feet set in shoes, his face displaying a severe expression with slit eyes below raised eyebrows, beard framing his mouth and his head covered with the specific bonnet, traces of red lacquer.
